Adds the Registered Professional Reporter (RPR) certification from the National Court Reporters Association as an acceptable credential to satisfy the Dictation/Transcription portion of California's court reporter licensing examination

Extends the remote court reporting pilot program in 13 California counties from July 1, 2026 to July 1, 2028, allowing continued study of stenographers creating verbatim records while not physically present in the courtroom

Delays the repeal date of the remote court reporting pilot program provisions from June 1, 2027 to January 1, 2029

Maintains existing pilot program requirements including that remote reporters must be full-time court employees with at least two years of California courtroom experience and caps participation at 10-20% of a court's reporters depending on county population
