Increases penalties for repeat domestic violence offenses under Penal Code Section 273.5, raising punishment to 2, 4, or 5 years in state prison and/or a fine up to $10,000 for convictions occurring within 7 years of a previous felony domestic violence conviction

Requires a minimum 60 days county jail as a condition of probation for defendants with one prior felony conviction for corporal injury to a spouse, cohabitant, dating partner, or parent of their child

Applies to willful infliction of corporal injury resulting in traumatic condition (including strangulation or suffocation injuries) upon current or former spouses, cohabitants, dating partners, or co-parents
