Extends California's ignition interlock device (IID) program from January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2033, continuing requirements established in 2019 for DUI offenders

Requires persons convicted of driving under the influence of alcohol to install certified IIDs on vehicles they operate for court-ordered periods, with installation remaining discretionary for first-time offenders

Allows DUI offenders who install IIDs to apply for restricted driver's licenses without completing the full license suspension or revocation period, provided they meet enrollment, financial responsibility, and fee requirements

Maintains IID manufacturer compliance requirements including income-based fee schedules for low-income offenders (ranging from 10% to 100% of costs based on federal poverty level)

Postpones the sunset date for reverting to pre-2019 IID laws from January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2033
