Mandates that deduction records be maintained in permanent form for at least 3 years at the employer's location or a central California location

Allows wage statements to be provided as a detachable check stub, printed statement with direct deposit, or through a secure digital employee portal at no cost to employees

Grants current and former classified employees the right to inspect or receive copies of their employment records, with employers required to respond within 21 calendar days of a request

Exempts salaried employees and those exempt from minimum wage/overtime requirements from the hourly rate and total hours disclosure requirements
