Extends indefinitely the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) exemption for prescribed fire, reforestation, habitat restoration, thinning, and fuel reduction projects on federal lands that have already undergone federal environmental review under the National Environmental Policy Act

The exemption applies when state or local agencies provide funding/staffing for these wildfire risk reduction projects, or when they operate under federal Good Neighbor Authority or stewardship agreements

Lead agencies must still file a notice of exemption with the Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation and county clerk, post it on their website, and indicate where federal environmental review documents are available

Removes the January 1, 2028 sunset date that would have ended this CEQA exemption, making it permanent

No state reimbursement to local agencies is required because they can levy fees to cover associated administrative costs
