Requires the Department of General Services, in consultation with the Department of Justice, to develop model guidelines for state agencies on procuring firearms, ammunition, and firearm accessories by July 1, 2027

Guidelines are intended to help state offices, departments, boards, bureaus, and commissions select vendors and contractors that comply with applicable local, state, and federal firearms laws

Earlier versions of the bill (now struck) would have required bidders to disclose ATF trace requests, theft/loss reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation, but these provisions were removed in amendments

The amended bill removes the originally proposed "Ira Sharp Firearm and Ammunition Procurement Act" name and the detailed bidder requirements, replacing them with a simpler directive to create model guidelines
