Reaffirms that mailing, shipping, receiving, or transporting abortion-inducing drugs into or within California is lawful when the abortion itself is lawful under state law

Provides immunity from civil liability, criminal liability, and professional disciplinary action for manufacturers, distributors, health care providers, pharmacists, and individuals who access, distribute, dispense, or administer mifepristone or other medication abortion drugs

Applies liability protections retroactively to January 1, 2020 for actions taken in accordance with state laws and accepted standards of care

Includes legislative findings that medication abortion accounts for over 60% of U.S. abortions and has a 0.4% risk of major complications and 0.00064% mortality rate

Contains a severability clause ensuring that if any provision is held invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect
