Requires the California Environmental Protection Agency and Natural Resources Agency to report to the Legislature by January 1, 2028, on implementation of Governor Newsom's March 1, 2025 emergency proclamation that suspended regulations to expedite critical fuels reduction projects.

Reports must include lists of entities that requested and used regulatory suspensions, detailed project information (location, treatment, acreage), and any instances of noncompliance with environmental protection plans.

Requires the California Coastal Commission to report to the Legislature by January 1, 2028, on fuel modification and reduction projects in the coastal zone from January 1, 2020, through December 31, 2026.

Coastal Commission report must include number of permit applications received, approved, and denied; acreage of approved projects; and average approval timeframes for coastal development permits and public works plans.

Both reporting requirements automatically repeal on January 1, 2029.
