Requires public safety agencies providing 911 call processing for emergency medical response to provide prearrival medical instructions to callers by January 1, 2027

Mandated instructions must include airway/choking guidance for all ages, AED and CPR instructions, childbirth assistance, bleeding control, epinephrine administration for anaphylaxis, and naloxone administration for suspected overdoses

Agencies may comply by contracting with another public safety agency that already provides prearrival medical instructions

All prearrival medical instructions must be approved by the local EMS agency medical director and follow adopted medical protocols

Agencies already providing approved prearrival medical instructions through emergency medical dispatch are not required to update their existing policies and procedures
