Expands ethics restrictions currently applying to the Director of the Department of Cannabis Control and Cannabis Control Appeals Panel members to also cover individuals appointed by the Governor to specified positions within the department

Prohibits covered appointees from receiving any commission or profit, directly or indirectly, from any person applying for or receiving a cannabis license or permit

Bars covered officials from having any interest in the sale of insurance covering a licensee's business or premises, or in the sale of equipment used by cannabis licensees

Prohibits covered officials from soliciting licensees for ticket purchases for benefits, contributions, or donations of money or other things of value
