Amends the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act to clarify that groundwater sustainability agencies with multiple plans for a single basin may amend their coordination agreement after the Department of Water Resources issues its assessment of the plans

Addresses a gap in existing law that was silent on whether coordination agreements could be modified post-assessment, providing agencies with explicit authority to make adjustments

Requires no appropriation and has no fiscal impact on state or local programs

Passed with a majority vote and was approved by the Governor on October 7, 2025
