Expands residential placement restrictions for conditionally released sexually violent predators to prohibit placement within 1/4 mile of child daycare facilities, in addition to existing restrictions near schools

Clarifies that "private school" means a facility or home that has filed a private school affidavit with the State Department of Education, provides instruction to students ages 6-18, and is publicly listed on the department's directory

Specifies that a home qualifies as a private school only if it was operating as such at the time of the person's placement; subsequent establishment of a private school near an existing placement does not make that placement noncompliant

Applies to persons previously convicted of specified sexual offenses against children or those found by the court to have a history of improper sexual conduct with children
