Extends the deadline for submitting the statewide urban forestry strategic plan to the Legislature from June 30, 2025 to June 30, 2026

Authorizes grants for school greening projects to optimize tree canopy cover and nature-based learning, with the director permitted to approve negotiated indirect cost rate agreements for projects funded with state or federal dollars

Expands the department's advisory role to include guidance on using trees in urban areas to promote community resilience and climate adaptation
