Extends the deadline for the Commission on Teacher Credentialing to convene a workgroup on computer science credentialing from July 1, 2024 to July 1, 2026

Extends the deadline for the commission to report the workgroup's findings and recommendations to the Legislature from July 1, 2025 to July 1, 2027

Delays the repeal date of the computer science credentialing workgroup provisions from January 1, 2028 to January 1, 2030

The workgroup is tasked with determining whether existing credentials should authorize computer science teaching, whether a new single subject credential in computer science should be created, and recommending strategies to expand computer science instruction access

At least half of the workgroup must be current classroom teachers with secondary-level computer science teaching experience, with implementation contingent upon legislative appropriation
