Mandates that governing boards adopt only instructional materials that accurately portray cultural and racial diversity, including contributions of people of all genders in professional, vocational, and executive roles

Requires instructional materials to reflect the role and contributions of Native Americans, African Americans, Latino Americans, Asian Americans, Pacific Islanders, European Americans, LGBTQ+ Americans, persons with disabilities, and other ethnic, cultural, religious, and socioeconomic groups

Removes previous provisions that required the Superintendent of Public Instruction to annually review 20 school districts specifically for sex discrimination compliance (struck from original bill text)
