Restricts one-year administrative services credential internship programs to those provided only by school districts, county offices of education, or regionally accredited institutions of higher education

Requires the Commission on Teacher Credentialing to examine its preservice, professional development, and supervision requirements for these internship programs when it next reviews administrative services credential pathways

Contains alternative provisions that incorporate changes from AB 1009, which would expand credential eligibility to include licensed occupational therapists and physical therapists

The alternative AB 1009 provisions would increase required experience from 3 years to 5 years, while allowing local educational agencies to request a waiver of up to 2 years for qualifying candidates
