Suspends property tax installment plan defaults and escape assessment collections until April 10, 2030, for affected properties where payments were current through January 7, 2025

Authorizes tax collectors to cancel penalties, costs, and other charges for property owners who experienced documented hardship due to the landfill event, with principal payments due by June 30 of the fourth fiscal year after delinquency

Requires assessors to notify taxpayers of assessment value changes and inform them of their right to file refund claims for taxes previously paid at higher valuations

Takes effect immediately as an urgency statute to address the financial burden on residents affected by the elevated temperature landfill event that began in 2022
