Urges California residents, businesses, and organizations to support outdoor worker well-being through cooling resources, workplace safety advocacy, and innovative solutions like wearable heat monitors

Notes that outdoor workers face extreme heat conditions exceeding 100-120°F in California deserts, with approximately 390 worker deaths from environmental heat exposure reported nationally from 2015-2023

Acknowledges that climate change disproportionately impacts low-income and minority outdoor workers who face occupational hazards in essential industries
