Proclaims September 25, 2025, as Military Sexual Trauma Awareness Day in California

Recognizes that approximately 1 in 3 women and 1 in 50 men in the Armed Forces experience military sexual trauma (MST) during service, including active duty, Reserve, and National Guard members

Acknowledges MST can lead to PTSD, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, physical health issues, and increased suicide risk

Affirms the Legislature's commitment to supporting MST survivors, breaking stigma, and improving support systems for survivors and their families

Notes that survivors from marginalized and minority groups may face additional barriers to accessing MST-related care
