Honors Daniel H. Salazar, a U.S. Border Patrol Agent who died on May 13, 2022, from injuries sustained in an on-duty vehicle crash near Potrero while responding to a sensor activation

Salazar graduated from the U.S. Border Patrol Academy in December 2018 and served at the El Cajon Station, after previously working as a volunteer firefighter and wildland firefighter

Requests the Department of Transportation to determine signage costs and erect appropriate memorial highway signs upon receiving sufficient donations from non-state sources

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Assembly to transmit copies of the resolution to the Director of Transportation and the bill's author
