Creates a new felony (Penal Code Section 288.6) for any person who recruits, directs, coerces, or uses a minor to harass, groom, or solicit physical harm, sexual conduct, or intimate images from another minor, punishable by 2, 4, or 6 years in state prison

Removes the extortion exemption for minors under 18 when they have knowingly threatened, intimidated, or coerced another minor to cause physical harm, engage in sexual conduct, or obtain intimate images

Explicitly includes AI-generated images of intimate body parts in the extortion provisions involving minors

Applies to conduct occurring through electronic means, social media, in person, or any other method of communication

Named the "Protecting Our Children from Online Extortion Act"
