Makes nonsubstantive (technical) changes to existing California law regulating products labeled as "compostable" or "home compostable"

Replaces the word "such" with more specific language like "the" or "those" throughout Section 42357 of the Public Resources Code

Removes the outdated phrase "only apply on and after January 1, 2024, and it shall" from third-party certification requirements, as that date has passed

Preserves existing requirements that compostable products must meet ASTM standards or OK compost HOME certification, have total organic fluorine below 100 parts per million, and be clearly labeled to distinguish them from noncompostable products
