Prohibits alcohol or drug recovery/treatment facilities serving more than 6 residents from operating within 1,000 feet of public or private K-12 schools or daycare centers

Applies only when treatment is actively being provided at the facility

Declared an urgency statute requiring a 2/3 vote, taking effect immediately upon passage to protect children attending nearby schools and daycare centers
