Existing law allows California taxpayers to contribute amounts exceeding their personal income tax liability to the State Parks Protection Fund directly on their tax returns

Taxpayers who contribute an amount equal to or greater than the price of a state parks day use annual pass receive a pass providing unlimited day use access to California state parks for one year

Contributions exceeding the value of any pass received are tax-deductible under existing law

No fiscal impact, appropriation, or local program changes result from this bill
