School district election resolutions for governing board member elections must be delivered to county superintendents and election officials at least 125 days before the election, increased from the current 123-day requirement

Schools must remain in session on any schoolday when the building is used as a vote center, except on election day when governing bodies may choose to continue school, designate staff training, or close the school

High school students appointed to serve on precinct boards now require only confirmation from their educational institution rather than formal approval from the governing board

Homeschooled students are now eligible to serve as precinct board members if they meet the existing requirements (at least 16 years old, U.S. citizen or permanent resident, 2.5+ GPA)

Elections officials may appoint up to 5 students per precinct to serve under direct supervision of precinct board members, though students may not tally votes
