Repeals the CalWORKs requirement that children not yet enrolled in school must receive age-appropriate immunizations as a condition of their family receiving full cash assistance benefits

Eliminates the sanction that reduced family grants by excluding parents/caretakers from the assistance calculation when immunization documentation was not provided within 30-45 days

Maintains requirement that applicants and recipients receive notice about immunization obligations for children entering schools, childcare centers, nursery schools, and family daycare homes under existing state law

Removes the requirement that notices include the Recommended Childhood Immunization Schedule; notices will only describe how to obtain immunizations through Medi-Cal providers or county public health clinics

Takes effect July 1, 2026, or when the State Department of Social Services certifies the Statewide Automated Welfare System can implement the changes, whichever is later; no General Fund appropriation provided for implementation
