Extends the repeal date for State Department of Education reporting requirements from January 1, 2026 to January 1, 2027, maintaining the mandate to report on the number and types of reports local educational agencies must submit

The department's report (due March 1, 2025) must include recommendations for consolidating, eliminating, or shortening reports required from school districts, county offices of education, and charter schools

Eliminates the IDEA Addendum requirements, which would have required the State Board of Education to adopt special education improvement measures by January 31, 2027

Removes the requirement for certain identified school districts, charter schools, and county offices of education to complete the IDEA Addendum by July 1, 2027

Approved by the Governor on October 10, 2025, and requires no appropriation
