Requires school districts to maintain records of all interdistrict transfer requests, including the number granted, denied, or withdrawn, along with reasons for denials

Mandates tracking of demographic data for transferred students, including race, ethnicity, gender, socioeconomic status, free/reduced-price meal eligibility, foster youth status, homeless status, English learner classification, and special needs identification

Requires school districts to submit interdistrict transfer data to the Superintendent by June 30 of each year (amended from October 15)

Requires the Superintendent to post the submitted transfer information on the Department of Education website by August 1 of each year (amended from December 31)

Provides for state reimbursement to school districts if the Commission on State Mandates determines the new requirements constitute state-mandated costs
