Requires businesses that provide brain-computer interfaces in California to use collected neural data only for the original purpose of collection

Mandates covered businesses delete neural data once the purpose for which it was collected has been accomplished

Applies to any person who makes a brain-computer interface available to someone in California

Furthers the purposes of the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 and the California Consumer Privacy Act, which already classifies neural data as sensitive personal information
