Requires courts to order bail premium refunds when a prosecuting agency dismisses charges within 21 days of the defendant's original arraignment or fails to file charges within 21 days of bail being posted, provided the defendant attended all mandatory court appearances and the bond was exonerated

Refund amount equals the bail premium paid minus a 2% administrative fee of the bond liability amount and any premium tax paid to the state by the surety company

Courts must order the refund within 30 days of the defendant or arrestee becoming eligible

Applies only to bail surety bonds entered into on or after January 1, 2026

Contains a severability clause stating that if any provision is held invalid, remaining provisions remain in effect
