Expands eligibility for Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation grants and cooperative agreements to include special districts that employ sworn peace officers under Penal Code Section 830

The Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Act of 2003 provides funding for planning, acquisition, development, maintenance, operation, enforcement, restoration, and conservation of trails and facilities for off-highway vehicle use

Current eligible applicants include cities, counties, districts, state agencies, federal agencies, and federally or state-recognized Native American tribes

The bill adds special districts with sworn personnel as a new category of eligible grant applicants alongside existing qualified entities
