Extends tuition and fee waivers at UC and CSU to cover extended education courses for eligible students, including children of disabled/deceased veterans, Medal of Honor recipients and their children, and certain military dependents, when the course is used to meet undergraduate degree requirements

Expands the California Military Department GI Bill Award Program to allow National Guard, State Guard, and Naval Militia members to use their educational benefits for extended education courses at UC and CSU campuses when meeting undergraduate degree program requirements

Provisions apply to UC only if the Regents of the University of California adopt a resolution making them applicable

Current law already waives tuition for these military-connected students in regular courses; this bill closes a gap by including extended education courses in that waiver
