Removes the January 1, 2027 sunset date for California's mandatory initial disclosure requirements in civil actions, making the discovery provisions permanent

Requires parties in civil lawsuits to provide initial disclosures within 60 days of demand, including names and contact information of persons with discoverable information, relevant documents, and insurance policy details

Allows parties to propound supplemental disclosure demands twice before trial date is set and once after, with courts able to grant one additional demand for good cause

Exempts certain case types from initial disclosure requirements: unlawful detainer actions, small claims cases, Family Code proceedings, Probate Code proceedings, and cases with trial preference granted

Does not apply to any party not represented by counsel in the action
