Requires self-service storage facility rental agreements entered into on or after January 1, 2026 to disclose whether the rental fee is promotional or discounted, the duration of any discount, and whether the fee is subject to change

Mandates disclosure of the maximum rental fee the owner could charge during the first 12 months following the rental agreement date

Requires disclosure of the initial length and renewal term of the agreement, all steps needed to terminate and avoid future charges, and owner contact information

Requires disclosures for paragraphs 1-5 to appear on the first page of the rental agreement in larger type than surrounding text, with contrasting type/font/color or set off by symbols

Adds Section 21715.2 to the Business and Professions Code under the California Self-Service Storage Facility Act
