Extends the Department of Technology's annual reporting requirement on high-risk automated decision systems used by state agencies from January 1, 2029 to January 1, 2032

Maintains the existing mandate for a comprehensive inventory of all high-risk automated decision systems that have been proposed, are being used, developed, or procured by state agencies

High-risk automated decision systems are defined as those assisting or replacing human decisions with legal or significant effects on housing, education, employment, credit, health care, and criminal justice

Reports must be submitted annually to the Assembly Committee on Privacy and Consumer Protection and the Senate Committee on Governmental Organization

Previous amendments that would have exempted certain social services benefit eligibility verification systems from the high-risk definition were removed in later versions of the bill
