Removes the requirement that homeowners installing electric vehicle (EV) charging stations in common interest developments must name the homeowner association as an additional insured party on their liability insurance policy

Owners must still maintain a liability coverage policy and provide a certificate of insurance to the association within 14 days of approval and annually thereafter

Corrects an erroneous cross-reference in existing law regarding the required insurance amount

Applies to EV charging stations installed in common areas or exclusive use common areas of condominiums, planned developments, community apartment projects, and stock cooperatives
