Adds Cambridge International examinations to the list of authorized assessments that may be used to measure pupil academic growth in school principal evaluations

Expands the definition of educational counseling programs to explicitly include encouraging student participation in Cambridge International programs alongside Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate programs

Establishes legislative findings recognizing Cambridge International Education as part of Cambridge University Press & Assessment and the University of Cambridge, describing its curriculum approach and examination system

Sets legislative intent that any future bills (after January 1, 2026) seeking to name privately developed programs in similar Education Code provisions must meet criteria including: being offered by a California local educational agency, meeting UC/CSU A-G requirements, having exams evaluated by the American Council on Education for college credit, and providing teacher professional development

Removes a previously proposed provision that would have allowed school districts to help pay Cambridge International test fees for financially needy students (struck from the amended version)
