Requires the Wildfire and Forest Resilience Task Force, by July 1, 2028, to assess health costs and impacts of high-severity wildfire smoke in cooperation with the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment and State Department of Public Health

Mandates estimation of emergency room visits and deaths from high-severity wildfire smoke in California since July 1, 2018, along with associated healthcare costs

Requires development of a model to determine approximate health benefits of achieving goals in the state's "Wildfire and Forest Resilience Action Plan"

Authorizes the task force to contract with independent groups to assist with the assessment

Assessment findings and additional smoke-reduction actions must be included in the next update to the Wildfire and Forest Resilience Action Plan
