Amends Government Code Section 66326 regarding local agency accessory dwelling unit (ADU) ordinances and their compliance with state standards

Local agencies must submit ADU ordinances to the Department of Housing and Community Development within 60 days of adoption; the department may then review for compliance

If the department finds an ordinance non-compliant, the local agency has 30 days to either amend the ordinance or adopt a resolution explaining why it believes the ordinance complies

New provision: Automatically invalidates a local ADU ordinance if the agency fails to submit it to the department within 60 days of adoption or fails to respond to non-compliance findings within 30 days

When an ordinance is invalidated, the local agency must apply state ADU standards until it adopts a compliant ordinance meeting all submittal requirements
