Allows California Community College nursing programs to submit remediation plans for faculty, director, and assistant director applicants who do not meet Board of Registered Nursing requirements for a different position

Requires the Board of Registered Nursing to approve applicants who submit completed applications demonstrating they meet requirements along with an approved remediation plan, if needed

Permits approved faculty applicants under remediation plans to instruct in theory under mentorship and supervision of a content expert for up to one year

Requires approved director or assistant director applicants under remediation plans to serve under mentorship of a board-approved director or assistant director

Expands remediation plan provisions previously limited to existing faculty seeking different positions to include applicants at California Community Colleges with approved nursing programs
