Requires the California Department of Transportation to allow placement of roadside business information signs along southbound State Route 395 before the State Route 178 eastbound exit and along northbound State Route 395 before the South China Lake Boulevard northbound exit

Creates an exception to the general prohibition on information signs in urban areas with populations of 5,000 or more for these specific highway locations

Amends an earlier version of the bill that had the directions reversed (previously specified northbound for the SR 178 exit and southbound for the South China Lake Boulevard exit)

Information signs under existing law identify businesses offering fuel, food, lodging, EV charging, camping, pharmacy services, or approved attractions near freeway exits in rural areas
