Expresses California Legislature's support for the federal "Renewing Immigration Provisions of the Immigration Act of 1929" (Registry bills), which would allow undocumented immigrants living continuously in the U.S. for at least seven years to apply for legal permanent residency

Approximately 8 million undocumented people nationwide could benefit from passage of the federal Registry bills

California is home to nearly 10 million immigrants, with 1 in 10 workers being undocumented and undocumented immigrants contributing $51.4 billion in state and local taxes

Notes that 80% of Californians support a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants

Directs the Secretary of the Senate to transmit copies of the resolution for appropriate distribution to support federal immigration reform efforts
