Recognizes California's nearly 1,000 school districts and county offices of education, represented by approximately 5,000 locally elected school board members—the largest group of locally elected officials in the state

Acknowledges school board members' role in addressing students' academic, social-emotional, physical, and mental health needs

Urges all community members to recognize the dedication of local school board members and collaborate with them to improve the education system
