The Department is authorized to create a universal application for single point of entry for home- and community-based services waivers for children as part of Medicaid eligibility modernization.

The bill amends Colorado Revised Statutes section 25.5-4-205 (1) by adding new paragraph (a.7) to establish this authorization.

The act takes effect at 12:01 a.m. on the day following the 90-day period after final adjournment of the general assembly (August 11, 2010, if adjournment occurred May 12, 2010).

If a referendum petition is filed within the 90-day period, the act does not take effect unless approved by voters at the November 2010 general election.
