Repeals the sunset provision scheduled for July 1, 2010 that would have terminated the Forestry Advisory Board, allowing the board to continue operating indefinitely.

Removes the Forestry Advisory Board from the list of advisory committees subject to sunset review under section 2-3-1203, C.R.S.

Amends statutes to clarify that the Division of Forestry and the Forestry Advisory Board remain under the Department of Natural Resources and exercise powers as if transferred by type 2 transfer.

Removes the requirement that the Division of Forestry provide staff support to the Forestry Advisory Board through the executive director.

Becomes effective 12:01 a.m. on the day following the 90-day period after final adjournment (August 11, 2010 if adjournment is May 12, 2010), subject to referendum petition approval by voters in November 2010.
