Health care facilities licensed or certified under Colorado law must report all occurrences of drug diversion to the department.

When diverted drugs are injectable, facilities must also report the full name and date of birth of any individual responsible for the diversion, if known.

The bill amends Colorado Revised Statute 25-1-124(2)(g) to add this enhanced reporting requirement specifically for injectable drug diversions.

The General Assembly declared this act necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
