Excludes services performed at the Auraria Higher Education Center from the definition of employment for unemployment insurance eligibility purposes.

Applies the exclusion to students enrolled and regularly attending classes at a school, college, or university who work at the Auraria Higher Education Center.

Extends the exclusion to spouses of eligible students employed at the Auraria Higher Education Center, provided they are notified that employment is part of financial assistance and not covered by unemployment insurance.

Takes effect upon passage and applies to unemployment insurance claims on or after the effective date.

Declared necessary for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety.
