HB11-1306 Summary

• Consolidates the sunset review date for all Division of Insurance functions to July 1, 2017, removing the separate July 1, 2012 sunset date for bail bonding agent licensing functions
• Amends Colorado Revised Statutes sections 10-1-103, 12-7-112, and 24-34-104 to align bail bonding agent licensing functions with the general Division of Insurance sunset schedule
• Removes the separate termination provision for bail bonding agent licensing that was previously scheduled to expire July 1, 2012
• Includes a safety clause declaring the act necessary for immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety
