Limits civil liability of mountain bicycling area operators, instructors, providers, and event organizers for injuries to riders resulting from inherent dangers and risks of mountain bicycling.

Liability is NOT limited if the defendant rented, sold, or provided a bicycle known to be faulty; committed willful or wanton disregard for rider safety; or intentionally injured the rider.

Product liability laws are not affected by this limitation of liability.

Riders must know their own ability level, accept and assume risk of injury from inherent dangers of mountain bicycling, heed posted warnings, and refrain from acting in ways that may cause injury to themselves or others.

Riders may still sue and recover from other riders for injuries caused by another rider's act or omission; effective May 1, 2011.
