Extends the sales and use tax exemption for wood products from trees killed or infested by mountain pine beetles and spruce beetles from July 1, 2013 to July 1, 2020.

Exempts lumber, furniture, wood chips, and wood pellets made from salvaged beetle-killed trees from state sales and use taxes under parts 1 and 2 of article 26, title 39, Colorado Revised Statutes.

Requires wholesalers to certify on a department of revenue form that products are derived from salvaged trees killed or infested by mountain pine beetles or spruce beetles to qualify for the exemption.

Allows town, city, and county sales and use tax ordinances to adopt the same exemption for beetle-killed wood products, but only through express inclusion in the initial ordinance or by amendment.

Repeals the exemption provision effective July 1, 2021, and applies the spruce beetle provisions retroactively to sales and uses occurring on or after July 1, 2012.
